A critical aspect of DRI concerns the access to information regarding a
wide variety of variables that can be used to characterize drought. A searchable database of relevant data sources for the study of drought in Western Canada has and continues to be compiled. This database integrates DRI and Non-DRI sources of drought data and projects as well as the DRI Data Legacy products. The old data page is still accessible if users prefer that arrangment.
Additionally from earlier in the project:
Table 1 outlines a preliminary list of datasets that can be considered in the context of characterizing and quantifying drought.
Table 2 is a modified version of Table 1, and includes an evolving list of data sources and links relevant to DRI.
Please refer to DRI's Data Access Policy for further information regarding data sharing and accessibility.
