Ocean Circulation and Biogeochemistry Research Group
We study large scale ocean circulation, its temporal variability, and its impact on the living ocean. Specifically, we are curious about the formation, circulation and destruction of water masses and how these processes vary over time. Our research seeks to link these processes to the uptake, storage, and circulation of heat, nutrients, and carbon.
